For blade sizes on spinner baits these combinations give you an excellent balance.

1/4 oz.  size 3 colorado and a 4 willow leaf

3/8 oz  size 4 colorado and a 4 1/2 willow leaf

1/2 oz           "              and  a 5 willow leaf.

Dont just go by blade size either.  Different blade types serve different purposes.  Colorado blades give a good thump and vibration while willow leafs give good flash, hence the combination.  A wide willow leaf (turtle back) gives the best of both worlds with good flash and excellent vibrations.

As far as what size to use stock the full weight range.  One quarter ounce work great in shallow water conditions and on spooked or pressured fish.  Three eighths ounce work good in both shallow and deeper water and medium strength currents.  For deeper water and or stronger currents 1/2 to 3/4 oz are better.

Natural colors such as green pumpkin with a silver blade or gold blade, along with either a white or chartreuse, or a combination of the two should produce fish.  Experiment with different color combinations until you find what works best.

Good luck, hope this helps, remember when in doubt set the hook!
