Yankee Outdoors Fishing Update

The stripers were on this evening!  I went out with Mark in Windsor just below the Farmington River and had a blast.  We used 6 and 8 lb test on light tackle.  They weren't the big ones, but for the last hour and a half, we had fish on with almost every cast.  We saw other friend on the river who had great luck also. Swimbaits from Calcutta and Tsunami were the ticket for the day.  Chartruse and Pink seemed to be hot colors, but.....I think we could have caught them on bare hooks if we had too   Joe Fisherman Stay out of trouble or don't get caught!!    Report
